Lori Doyle Deputy Festival Director Lori discovered her love of media expression working as a young journalist throughout her university years in the United States. Currently, she is an editor for a London-based company and a Yoga teacher. An aspiring filmmaker and screenwriter, Lori worked as a film extra in 2005 – a stint which opened her eyes to the fascinating and magical world of film and sparked her interest in it further; she recently began writing her first screenplay. Much of each year, she lives on beautiful Koh Phangan island in southern Thailand, surrounded by nature and filled with inspiration. |

Saithip Noochsamnieng Festival Consultant Saithip is the co-founder of Samui Channel Television, a station dedicated to the dissemination of reliable public- and private-source information on sustainable development. Through documentaries, news programs, and public announcements, Samui Channel aims to help island viewers learn the truth about broad trends and local current directions in socially responsible lifestyles. Saithip is also a scriptwriter and directed "The Senses of Koh Samui," a television documentary on water preservation. The film, which brought awareness to the subject of water resources and highlighted the philosophy behind sustainable living, was presented with the Thailand Tourism Award in 2008. |

Markus Aklin Festival Consultant Swiss-born Markus is a highly creative professional with 11 years of experience in the hospitality industry. His comprehensive knowledge in hotel development and operations led him to put down roots in the Kingdom of Thailand, where he and his wife make their home. Markus, a longtime Samui resident with a background in graphic arts and new media, currently coordinates large-scale projects for an international hotel group based in Thailand. |

Eyal Matsliah Marketing Consultant Eyal grew up in a multicultural and multilingual Israeli family and from a young age was exposed to movies from all over the world. He watched all the good films that the two local television channels could offer, attended film festivals around his home country, and took a few film courses at Tel Aviv University and in the cinematheque. In recent years, Eyal developed a taste for documentaries, short films, and animated films. He is a still-life photographer, music collector, technology consultant, personal coach, and an avid chef. Since 2004 he has been living in Thailand on the tropical island of Koh Phangan. |
